NYC favorites Supreme and True Religion Jeans team up for a new collection for Supreme’s New York Fall/Winter 2021 collection. The lifestyle brand is staying true to its local roots after being sold to a reported 2.1 Billion dollars in November 2020, many wondered with Jeff Jebbia’s exit would the brand change and become just any old regular brand sold at Zumiez or Pacsun. While True Religion Jeans itself no longer holds the denim market as popular as before finding financial hardships this past few years with a number of stores closing and bankruptcy.
A popular denim line in the late 2000s and early 10′ among the hip hop community in New York City to Chicago from Harlem native Jim Jones (Dipset Vs The Lox) to Glo rapper Chief Keef the brand was often worn with Nike Air Force or how we call them in New York Uptowns. The lucky ones who own a pair of Supreme Air Force can rock them with this collection of Denim jeans and jackets featuring True’ Religions special stitching designs with the Supreme logo firmly placed on them.
It could be said that True Religion might make a comeback with Supreme being known for re-surging and giving back life to certain brands as it did for Champion. The collection itself will feature Supreme text with True Religions patent logos from the stitched up horseshoe and the smiling Buddha, on items such as Denim Trucker Jacket, Hooded Sweatshirt, Denim Cargo Pant, 6-Panel, and Beanie. It would be fitting to see these two brands that native New Yorkers styled be brought together for display on the streets.
Get does Nike Uptown sneakers ready folks!
