The 1995 cult classic ‘Kids’ by Larry Clark has a documentary in the works for the 20th anniversary and has launched a Kickstarter campaign to digitize archival footage.
The film which followed young sexually active teens in New York city, starred Chloë Sevigny, Leo Fitzpatrick, Justin Pierce, Rosario Dawson and Jon Abrahams.
The documentary written by Caroline Rothstein has been two years in the works and is a retrospective of what happened to the children from “Kids.”
“We’ve spent the last two years in pre-production gathering never-before-seen archival footage and photographs, home videos, casting footage and more — an incredible trove of footage that captures the kids from ‘Kids,’” she said.
